What is your color?
You could be red, yellow, green or blue. The quiz will help determine your color. We don't explain what each color means until you attend our My Money Color event. The reason: people tend to simplify what their color means. At the event, we'll explain the concept in detail so it will be most helpful to you.
Here are a few principles about your color:
- Most people are not completely one color or another. You will have a dominant color, but you may have varying degrees of the other colors in your money style.
- Two people with the same color are not necessarily a best fit as a couple. Two reds, for example, may see the world of money the same, but they may not complement each other in making balanced money decisions.
- You don't inherit your color. If your parents are blue, you won't necessarily be a blue. Children of the same parents often have different money colors.
- Knowing your color will help your financial life. Information is the best cure for avoiding unconscious behavior. If you know and understand your money color, you will be better able to understand why you make certain decisions about money. This knowledge will help you make better decisions around money.
- There is no right money color. Each color or style toward money has its benefits and weaknesses. Understanding your color will help you be conscious about your decision-making. Knowing your color may help you gain a more balanced approach toward money.
