140 young adults attend first-ever My Money Color eventAbout 140 young adults attended our first-ever "My Money Color" event in early October in Minneapolis. (See photos.) At the event, they learned about their money color—really about their natural behaviors and attitudes around money. Our goal was to help them understand that no matter what their approach is to money, they will better manage and save money if they are aware of their strengths and weaknesses around spending. We are committed to helping young people get off on the right foot around saving for retirement. So often, young adults are sold financial products they don't need or that have high fees associated with them. This sours them toward financial professionals. We want young adults to understand their investment options so that they feel educated and empowered to make wise choices. |
